We have for many years been ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners – the industry’s ‘bibles’ of the UK’s top lawyers. Family lawyers Stephen Root  and Sarah Smith are designated leaders in their field for their work in Family law as is Paul in his specialist area of IT and IP law.

 

Berwin for his work in Intellectual Property and Information Technology for the second year running in 2011-12’s Chambers and Partners. 

 

In 2011-12’s Legal 500 we are ranked in six distinct areas – Personal Tax and Trusts, Family, Commercial Property, Employment, IT and IP.  

 

In 2010 our Family Team were highly commended in the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards.

 

Paul Berwin was one of the first two solicitors in the country to be designated an accredited IT Lawyer by the Society of Computers and Law.

 

All of the solicitors in our Life Team are STEP (society of trusts and estate practitioners) qualified.

 

And last but not least, we won the Mayor’s Award for Community Involvement at the Ackrills Business Awards  in 2009.
