At Berwins we have made this challenge part of our whole makeup, by having our standards externally audited, asking and having external researchers asking our clients what they really think of us, being recommended in the leading legal directories and creating a culture where everyone in the firm has a responsibility to improve what we give to our clients. This embraces our accessibility, the speed and manner of communications, how we go about understanding our clients’ needs and how we provide true value.

 

We understand that our business clients need advice as individuals as well as in their businesses, and that when individuals and families come to us, what may seem routine to us will never be to them. So if you’re an employer or an employee; if you are moving house or have family problems; you need to resolve a dispute, get paid, buy or sell a business; you need to protect your assets or deal with a deceased estate – whatever it is, it’s important to you – we never forget that.

 

By delivering  on our promise Berwins has grown since its formation in the mid ‘90s to its current status, being joined by other firms along the way, and is recognised by its longstanding tenure of Lexcel, the Law Society’s measure of excellence, as Investors in People, in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners directories.   We became one of the first incorporated practices in 2009 - a move which gave us the  right corporate structure to enable us to run a better business and so be better able to serve our clients' needs.
