New Solicitors appointed to key roles at Berwins
Berwins is celebrating the arrival of 2010 with two key appointments in the face
of spiralling growth in demand for its services across all aspects of the Harrogate-based
law firm.
Emma Farrell will head up the dispute resolution team while Marie Walsh joins
the commercial and employment law unit. Both will report to director Natalie
Saunders.
Im delighted to be joining such a vibrant and go-ahead firm, said Emma, who
was previously with the prestigious Dublin law firm Matheson Ormsby Prentice where
she trained and then went on to specialise in dispute resolution.
Marie was previously with Wetherby and York solicitors Ware & Kay and prior
to that was a lecturer at the College of Law in York. She trained and qualified
at Blacks in Leeds.
Im looking forward to the stimulus and challenge along with the opportunity
of dealing with more commercial clients, she said.
Berwins' managing director and founder Paul Berwin said: The choices made by
both Marie and Emma to join Berwins shows how far the firm has continued to progress
through the recession. It underlines the strength and confidence we have retained
to keep driving the business forward, ensuring that we continue to attract and
retain the best lawyers to look after our clients.
