Evolving our brand for the next, exciting chapter

Few things in life stay the same.

We see that in our personal lives and, as lawyers supporting businesses and individuals at every stage of their journeys, it’s something we see every day in our professional world too.

Change can be exciting, opening up new opportunities which it’s a professional privilege to help to become a reality - the excitement of a young couple buying their first family home or a business opening new premises. Change can also be hard – the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship – and needs to be handled with sensitivity to ensure that a path ahead can be found.

But in both situations, as in business, having a clear vision and a plan rooted in that vision is essential. I’m proud to say it’s something which is at the heart of the way Berwins both offers legal advice – finding out client’s goals and putting them at the centre of everything we do – and the way we operate as a successful law firm.

A new look

It’s in response to that clear direction that we have updated Berwins’ brand. Keeping true to what is great but refreshing it to take us through the next exciting chapters of our future, supporting clients with what matters most.

Over more than three decades, Berwins’ approach has always been to resist traditional; to push boundaries and to refuse to settle for anything less than the best that we can be and the best that we can give.

Updating our image encapsulates exactly that and I’m so excited to be at the helm for this next chapter. Our brand image had stood still for about a decade now while we’ve done anything but. Berwins has evolved to a limited company, we have an inclusive board including non-legal directors because that represents the best talent.  We’ve gone paperless by embracing all the best of today’s technologies, increased massively in size and expanded into new markets, including digital, which led to the addition of our Leeds office.

The next few years will bring even more of this - so is time to sharpen up our image again.  I want all the things that we are rightly proud of at Berwins to be brilliantly illustrated to our local community here in Yorkshire and our wider international client base.

So as change, development and growth come, Berwins will embrace it with our same culture of care and with a refreshed and reenergised image which allows us to remain no ordinary lawyers, delivering quality legal services which make a difference.
