Trade marks
A trade mark distinguishes your goods and services from those of your competitors. Trademarks are registerable through the Intellectual Property Office and once registered, give protection nationwide. You can also apply for European marks, or marks in most countries in the world.
An important part of trade mark use is knowing what is registerable and what isn’t. It is important to realise that it’s not enough just to own a company name, or a domain name, or even for your business to be in your own name; if you haven’t registered it, you aren’t protected.
We can advise on the registration of trade marks, as well as the licensing, assignment and defence of them. Protect your business by registration. Call Paul Berwin on 01423 509000 or e-mail PaulBerwin@berwin.co.uk
