Many people don’t realise that the process of changing your mortgage provider or remortgaging a property carries much of the same legal processes as actually buying a home in the first place.
From the perspective of the lender, the property, even if you aren’t moving home, is still considered to be a new security and is subject to all the same paperwork you would be completing for a first time mortgage.
We handle everything for you, from the legal title investigations through to searches and the management of the cash transaction. We use the mortgage advance to pay off the existing mortgage and register the new lending agreement with the Land Registry.
